Our visual and performing arts instruction is deeply rooted in the hands-on exploration of each discipline. We have created a climate that nurtures and celebrates each student’s individual diversity and talent. We treat Visual Arts and Performing Arts with equal care, encouraging creative expression in a wide selection of course offerings. Our goal is to enhance the students’ lifelong appreciation of the arts, bring joy to their process, and to challenge their ability to grow in personal expression, and overall achievement.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMS
Unleash your creativity by taking a painting class. Students will explore various painting techniques and styles by using acrylics, or watercolors. Class will be individual need based and instructor will work on each person’s project covering composition, color theory, acrylic and watercolor techniques, indoors or outdoors weather permitted. Group exhibits will take place during the Evening of the Arts and in the school premises throughout the school year.
The instrumental music program provides an opportunity for students who have a background in instrumental music to continue to develop their playing ability through participation in small ensembles. Students will learn exercises to improve their tone production, tone quality, and technique. Through rehearsal, students will improve their sight-reading skills and acquire the confidence to present a successful performance. Students will discover a wide variety of repertoire through both performing, and listening, and field trips.
